This work is about sustainable operations.
It’s about documented decisions, visible workflows, and systems that hold, even as your team grows, shifts, or scales.

My role is to bring structure to the chaos, document what lives in people’s heads, and design processes that reflect how your business actually operates, not just how it looks in theory.

This isn’t task support. This is structural change.

Before anything gets built, we look at what’s already there, and what’s not.
Every engagement follows the same rhythm:

  • Audit how work actually happens (not how it’s “supposed” to)
  • Spot the friction, bottlenecks, and missing pieces
  • Align on priorities and direction before building
  • Document what lives in people’s heads
  • Design and refine systems that reduce dependency
  • Provide handover, async walkthroughs, and optional training

No overwhelm. No quick fixes. No rushing through just to “get it done.”
This is intentional operations work, and it’s built to last.

What I Do (Areas of Expertise)

These are the four types of work I’m most often brought in to do. They’re not packages or steps in a fixed process, and you don’t need all of them to get started.

Most clients come in with a specific issue. We scope from there, based on what’s actually needed, and what will have the biggest impact.

1. Operational Audits & System Mapping

Clarity starts with a clear picture.
I look under the hood of how your business really runs, then map the mess, spot friction points, and show you where things are falling through.

Examples:

  • Untangling how tickets actually move through your support queue
  • Mapping team responsibilities to spot duplication, bottlenecks, or gaps
  • Surfacing hidden dependencies that slow everything down

2. Documentation & SOP Development

Stop repeating yourself. Start scaling.
I turn undocumented knowledge into standards your team can actually use. This reduces Slack pings, onboarding chaos, and decision fatigue.

Examples:

  • Building a usable internal wiki from scratch
  • Turning scattered notes into consistent, searchable SOPs
  • Documenting team processes so they don’t live in one person’s head

3. Workflow & Process Optimisation

Smooth handoffs. Fewer blockers. Better flow.
Once we’ve mapped how work moves, I design workflows that remove friction, without adding more tools or creating rigid templates.

Examples:

  • Fixing handover delays between marketing and support
  • Reducing unnecessary approval steps in content production
  • Streamlining client onboarding to cut repetition and confusion

4. Quality & Compliance Systems

Guardrails that protect your team — and your reputation.
Whether it’s content standards or copyright compliance, I create systems that prevent problems before they happen.

Examples:

  • Building a company-wide QA framework from the ground up
  • Creating image licensing protocols that eliminate legal risk
  • Setting standards so quality doesn’t depend on who is doing the work

What’s Included

Every engagement includes:

  • A clear scope of work
  • Access and onboarding support
  • Thoughtful system design
  • Practical, documented outputs
  • Async walkthroughs for handover or team use

Check-ins are ad-hoc, not weekly. This work doesn’t need status meetings. It needs thinking time and clarity.

Handover & Support

All systems include clear documentation and, where needed or wanted, a recorded walkthrough, so your team has everything they need to use and maintain the system without extra back-and-forth.

This also means:

  • You’re not left guessing how things work.
  • Your internal team can revisit the walkthrough any time — for onboarding, clarification, or training.

If additional live training is required, that can be scoped separately (subject to availability).

Clarification vs new work

I’m happy to answer clarification questions during or shortly after handover — things like where to find something or how to use what’s already been delivered.

If new needs arise, or changes require additional thinking or implementation, those will be scoped and billed as new work.

My Rates & How I Charge

Standard rate: £90/hour

All engagements start with a 10-hour block, paid upfront.
This allows for proper scoping, design, and documentation, not just “quick fixes.”

Additional hours:

  • Tracked transparently
  • Invoiced at completion or in the next block
  • Final handover delivered once payment is settled

I don’t charge by project, and I don’t work to fixed deadlines.
Why? Because I can’t control access delays, communication gaps, or moving priorities, and I won’t rush work just to hit an arbitrary date.
Hourly pricing keeps billing tied to the actual work, without inflated estimates or unnecessary padding.

What I can promise:
You’ll get systems that reduce chaos, and the clarity to keep them running.

Is This For You?

This is a good fit if:

  • You’re scaling, but your operations haven’t kept up
  • Your team relies on “just ask [name]”
  • You’re done repeating the same things every week
  • You want clarity, not more complexity

This won’t work if:

  • You’re looking for task execution without context
  • You want a plug-and-play template
  • You’re not ready to change how your team operates
